The Rock'n'Roll Congress Youth Group of Wahkiakum County present "Art By The Ages", their second annual fundraiser, art exhibit and sale sponsored by the Friends Of Skamokawa at Redmen Hall.
The event will open with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 3rd at the Hotel Cathlamet, 69 Main Street in Cathlamet, Washington. The opening provides a good time to meet the artists, savor delicious food provided by Thyme Square Bistro and enjoy live entertainment.
The exhibit will run Thursday through Saturday, noon till 4, through June 7.
Redmen Hall in Skamokawa is currently closed for repairs to its foundation. Exhibits sponsored by the Friends will return to Redmen Hall when repairs are completed.

Rock and Roll Congress Exhibit in Cathlamet
An art exhibit with works from Wahkiakum High School art students will take place starting Saturday, May 3rd at our temporary exhibit space at the Cathlamet Hotel.
Winter Closing Extended
Due to necessary repairs, Redmen Hall is temporarily closed to the public. Exhibits are tentatively scheduled to take place for the time being in the lobby of the Hotel Cathlamet, 69 Main Street, Cathlamet, Washington.

The Holiday Open House at Redmen Hall will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 30th and December 1st, and noon to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday through December 22nd, at 1394 West State Route 4 in Skamokawa.

Half Price Art!
Redmen Hall is having a estate sale of art from the collection of the founder of Tsuga
Gallery, Janet Cimino, benefitting Tsuga gallery. It has been quite
successful, but there are still some pieces left. The Board at Tsuga
Gallery has decided they have no room to store what might be left so
they are reducing all remaining items to 1/2 price to clear them out.
The sale will last two 4 day weekends - this coming one and Memorial
Day weekend. So, come visit Redmen Hall and take your pick of these
amazingly low prices,benefit Tsuga gallery, and visit Redmen Hall - a
beautiful building steeped in local history.

Art Sale from the Estate of Janet Cimino benefit for Tsuga Gallery in Cathlamet

Janet's collection is primarily from the Pacific Northwest, but also includes many pieces from England and Japan. There is framed calligraphy by the English artist M. Adams; the Japanese collection includes antique silk embroidery, sumiyuri prints from the early 1700's by Banke, Kensho, and others, water colors from the middle 1800's, and other beautiful pieces. There is a collection of prints, paintings, and photographs from well known Pacific Northwest artists including Rei Munoz, Lee Mann, and our local Maude Butler. There are also certified Duck Stamp paintings and other wildlife prints, and many works by nationally recognized regional artists. There are also several works by Janet Cimino - her painted wooden objects in the antique Swedish style and many of her beautiful greeting cards.
The sale will open April 20th and run until June 1st - or until all the works are sold. It is being held at Redmen Hall in Skamokawa at 1394 SR-4 - the School House on the Hill. All items are priced to sell and include a wide variety of items for every taste. We will be having a reception on opening day to honor the members of Tsuga Gallery with the usual refreshments served. Redmen Hall is open Thursday through Sunday from 12 noon to 4 p.m.. There is no admission charge but donations are greatly appreciated.

Area Antiques on Sale over Four Weekends
Area antiques will be on view and for sale at Redmen Hall from Thursday, February 28th to March 24th. The sale runs Thursdays through Sundays. There will be special opening hours for the first days of the sale: 10am to 4pm on Thursday February 28th through Sunday, March 3rd. Regular hours will then resume for the last three weekends of the sale: Thursdays through Sundays from noon until 4pm.
