Here is our schedule for this Thursday through Sunday while the painting continues. :)

We will be closed on Thursdays & Fridays for the next 3 weeks during painting

The painting has begun and for the next three weeks we will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only. We should be back to our regular hours by Thursday July 4th if everything goes as planned. :)

[Skamokawa, WA] Friends of Skamokawa presents “Down on the Farm” An Historic presentation of The Skamokawa Creamery Farmers Association; 1898 through 1943.

Our “Down on the Farm” exhibit open June 1^st, runs through August 31^st and features historical photos, antique creamery items, and more. Taste Little Island Creamery samples at our opening along with other beverages, cookies, and treats. Little Island Creamery will also be sharing their experiences running a creamery in Wahkiakum County today. Artist Keith Hoofnagle will have pieces available for purchase.

Farm & Flowers Photography Exhibit Runs through May 26th

We've got an amazingly beautiful photography exhibit on display right now and here are all the details: [Skamokawa, WA] Friends of Skamokawa is pleased to announce Farm & Flowers, an exhibition of photography by Desiree East Craven (Backwater Farm, Puget Island) and Brian Winner (Blue Skies Farm of Puget Island). Capturing the intensity of the natural world from the vast to the minuscule, these photographer/farmers capture the true essence of life on a Puget Island Farm. Displayed in Skamokawa’s historic 1894 Schoolhouse/River Life Interpretive Center/Central School/Redmen Hall and runs through May 26th.

Farm & Flowers~ Skamokawa Swamp Opera, April 20th in Skamokawa, WA

Farms, Flowers, Photography, and Music starting at 3:00 PM with the Farm & Flowers Photography Exhibit by Desiree East Craven and Brian Winner. The exhibit opening runs through the afternoon and is followed by Skamokawa Swamp Opera!!!

Skamokawa Swamp Opera is Andrew Emlen, Kyleen Austin, Erik Friend, and Jillian Raye. From hip-hop, to opera, to folk, to pop, these four exceptionally talented musicians have something for all musical tastes. A fun and lively evening of musical excellence, laughter, and a celebration of Skamokawa. This is a fundraiser for the Friends of Skamokawa Foundation.
Tickets for the Skamokawa Swamp Opera show are One for $15 - Two for $25 and are available in Cathlamet at Bank of the Pacific and Daisy Chain Floral and in Skamokawa at the River Life interpretive Center (394 SR4, Skamokawa) and The Skamokawa General Store.
