Friends of Skamokawa opens our new exhibit on Mother's Day, Sunday May 14th. 'The Wonderful Women of Wahkiakum County' presents the beautiful craft work of four groups representative of the talented women in this county. The groups are the Skamokawa Grange Women's Activity Group, the Seattle Children's Hospital - Puget Island Auxiliary, the River City Strippers, and the GFWC Cathlamet Woman's Group. In addition to their fine craft work these groups all contribute a great deal to charity. There will be detailed information about each organization included in this colorfully unique display. These groups do not typically show their work which means we are quite fortunate to have this event as our celebration of mothers in Wahkiakum County and beyond. This exhibit will run through Sunday, June 25th. We are located in Skamokawa, WA at 1394 S. R. 4, and we are open Thursday through Sunday 12-4 pm.
